Wei Zhang talks about how St Josemaria’s message is a path for many people to find God while living in society, by trying to be better every day.

My name’s Wei Zhang, I come from Beijing in China, and I’m studying History of Art in Germany, in Trier. I was baptized four years ago. For me that was a key moment in my life. I learned about the Catholic faith from an Italian friend. He also told me about Opus Dei.

The message of Opus Dei, which God showed to St Josemaria, that we can become holy in everyday life, had a big effect on me. That was the divine inspiration that produced Opus Dei, a path that many men and women can follow, people who live and work in society, and try to be better every day through our work.

The message passed on to us by St Josemaria shows us how, through work, through everyday life, we can seek for perfection. It shows us clearly how to become holy in everyday things, keeping this ideal always before our eyes and trying to live up to it.
